The Moment
The sun sets over the Zambian escarpment, the unreal colours of its rays mixed with the haze in the Zambezi valley that occurs at this time of the year create a picture hard to beat
These beautiful moments are hard to describe really as each one is unique in its own way, except now the great flocks of Quelea move back ward and forward across the water in clouds
Sometimes sounding like aircraft taking off they move into the sunset in formations perfectly synchronized, taking beautiful shapes as they fly, this particular flock almost formed a set of wings as they flew over, like the wings of an angel, my instinct immediately felt the connection with a young friend of the family who had died tragically, very recently. I have no doubt she had something to do with this beautiful show.
