There is something especially special about being out here in these wild places, soul food as they say, but I think it’s more than that
In today’s hectic world, a world of watches and schedules we seem to be fully trapped into no longer following out instincts!
Life is just a fleeting moment and the important things to us are all in the present.
And yet we are so not in the now these days, as I have said before there are simply no guarantees we only have what we have right now.
The energy that exudes from these old places is so pure, astonishing sights and sounds add to the incredible experience of being out here, added to this is the incredible way it all fits together with a pure purpose, something I believe that we as a species no longer have.
Yes the wild can be brutal, but not a fraction of how brutal and destructive we have become.!
My work with art is about awareness of this magical place, about the feel of being out here. Come and walk with us in the sands of the dried river beds , along the elephant paths , perhaps join us on an art safari where we sit quietly and capture the mood of this majestic place
